The children's author David Walliams lost his contract with longtime publisher.
Prolific children's author and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the company said: "Following a thorough review, and with the guidance of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish future works by David Walliams."

The firm declined to specify the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions."
